  2/17/17 dropped off 5'x8' rug to be cleaned, no damage, light soil only,not used in high traffic area(home office).2/28/17 paid $60,picked up rug.it was wrapped in tight plastic.I left it wrapped and didn't open because we had a scheduled move out of state. 8/15/17 moved into new home in FL. Rug safely packed entire time in POD,unwrapped it,shocked because it was discolored, fiber backing was damaged and it looked very stained,a lot more than when I brought it in.Now unusable!I was so busy with our move in.Called CD ONE 8/23/17, Irma took complaint, asked me to bring it in for re-do;told her we moved out of state;said she'd talk to Mgr. Never heard back, tried again, spoke Rafael,not a mgr,said they outsource rugs to Leathermasters Co,who take before/after pics of products brought in.Asked if paper was attached,which it was stating,"unfortunately not all stains can be SAFELY removed w/o permanently damaging the rug's fibers and/or backing,etc. and chemical reaction will occur."If you wish to make a more agressive attempt to remove stains pls sign/date below-to have rug recleaned"(this only protected this company,not me/my product. I was out of state already.No means to ship ruined rug back to them.I simply requested my $60 back for the cleaning,not to mention cost of lost rug.Rafael talked to Mgr and never called me back like he said he would. I called him again today 10/5/17,he simply said Mgr said there is nothing they can do. No refund for cleaning fee $60;no damage loss of rug reimbursement; no free shipping to return rug (even tho it beyond repair at this point).So I am out $60 plus cost I paid for rug $150 = $210 total. I was a loyal customer of CD Cleaners prior to moving out of state. They do good work,but apparently, their subcontractor, Leathermasters is not. Neither company is taking any responsibility here. Each time I called,they said they would call me back and they never did. I always had to call them and repeat my story each time.
  
  RAFAEL called me after this review. He was very nice. Apologized and said he spoke to his supervisor and CD ONE has agreed to refund my $60 fee for the dry cleaning. I received the $60 ck in the mail. Rafael did follow up several times. Although I lost the rug, at least they refunded my cleaning fee. I am pleased with the outcome and the way the quick response after posting the original complaint review online.
